Hello everyone,
I was going through Ontario's website of cutoff. Are these cutoff's for the PT(Notification of interest) or for the actual Nomination provided.
I keep seeing everywhere that CRS of 400+ and NOC in their demand list is the only criteria. It would be helpful if anybody could explain the concept of 400+ and the actual cutoffs mentioned in the Ontario's website.

It would be helpful if you posted the link to the specific page of the website you are asking about. Otherwise a bit difficult to answer your question.

Cut offs for past rounds of invitation can be found here:

Hi @scylla ,
Thank you for the reply.
I am by the way asking about the same page that you just shared. I am confused what are these cutoff's. But now as i can see in the link itself it says oinp-express-entry-notifications-interest.
Does it mean it is the CRS cutoff of receiving NOI's?

Yes. This is the range of scores individuals had who received a nomination.

Thank you. This is what confused me. I am seeing everywhere on the internet that an individual will get NOI if the primary NOC fall's under their demand list and the CRS is 400+. I guess this is not the case.

My CRS is being calculated to be 435. Will i have to wait their cut off to drop in order to receive the NOI?

Having a score of 400+ and the right NOC does not mean you will automatically get a nomination. 400 is the minimum score you must have. However Ontario selects those with the highest score. Yes, you will need to wait for the cutoff to drop. I would recommend you increase your score since there's no guarantee the score will drop that low anytime soon.

Sorry to bother again. I would like to explain my query as below by going step by step for the PNP process.

1) The first step is to create the express entry profile that I have already created.

2) After that Ontario will pick the profiles according to their criteria and will provide Notification of interests. Subsequently, we have to apply on the Ontario's website withing 45 days, by paying 1500 CAD and mentioning the identifying number of the notification that I received

3) Then, the province take it's time to verify all the details in order to see if i qualify or not and provide the nomination.

Now if the cut offs mentioned on the website are for the point#2, then on what basis point#3 is validated. Is it solely based on the authenticity of the documents?

Also it would be great if you could tell some approx time that point#3 takes.

Thank you

Yes, step #3 is a validation step. I don't know the processing time these days.
