What are the chances of skipping medicals? like embassy or CIC wont need them?

Absolutely no chance buddy! They won't even process your visa without the medicals! Only if your visit is less then 6 months then you don't need to take any medicals!
 
just because people never filled it in in the forum doesn't mean they never did it.. it might merely be because they forgot the dates when the medical was requested and never bothered to fill it in. that happens. :)

Or were resident in a country that doesn't require medicals for a stay of more than 6 months in Canada.
