Greetings!
My sister is planning to sponsor me through family sponsorship under relative category Outland application, what is the chance of approval and if ever I was allowed to visit her this coming month it would affect my Outland application?or do I need to stay in my country? Thank you for response.

The chances of approval are high as long as all of the following are true:

- Your sister has no partner / spouse
- Your sister has no children
- Both of your parents are deceased
- There are no other relatives living in Canada (e.g. aunt, uncle)

You can travel to Canada as a visitor. No issues with that as long as you return home at the end of your visit. You will not be able to remain in Canada as a visitor for the length of time it takes to process the sponsorship application.

Hi Thank you for the response. It is possible that I can apply for work permit while waiting for the result?

It will not be possible most likely.

If you want a work permit, you'll need to get a job offer from a Canadian employer and that employer will need to get an approved LMIA. The LMIA process is long (4-6 months) and expenstive for the employer with no guarantee of approval. Generally speaking, it's next to impossible to find employers willing to go through this process.

Sponsorship for another relative is a long process. It will be over a year and even longer due to covid. You didn't answer whether you meet the requirments for the lonely Canadian sponsorship program. Do you already have a TRV?

What is lonely Canadian sponsorship program? How long it takes?

Yes I do have TRV and going to be expired.

Can you answer the question firsr about your parents being deceased, sister married, etc.

You would not qualify to travel at the moment. You aren't immediate family or essential travel.

She’s still single and no relative living in Canada. Parents both alive.

Are you talking about your sister as a PR/Citizen of Canada sponsoring you to become PR as well?

If your parents are alive, she cannot sponsor you.

Since both of your parents are alive, your sister cannot sponsor you. The chances of success are zero.
