Hubby and I are in our mid-40s, both highly skilled. Me an ex-banker and entrepreneur, hubby a Prof of Marine Science. Kids are under 16yrs. What are our chances of migrating to Canada with this program despite our age barrier?

Are there other options we can explore?
I would appreciate a clear and candid advice pls! Thank you

Honestly, don’t know but chances are low. Are you eligible for Express Entry with at least 67 points based on your IELTS and ECAs? If you are then what is your CRS score? what is your NOC? If you have a Masters or PhDs then you have more of a chance but your age gives you little or no points.

If you are willing to start a business in Canada, then the Start Up Visa program could be an option. Processing times are long (approx. 3 years?) and you need to find a designated organization in Canada who is willing to invest in your idea. However this could potentially be one option.

Hard to comment on other possibilities without more info.
