Hi,

I sent off my CEC application on April 17, so expecting to receive my AOR around end of May. However, I just realized my police certificate was a little older than 3 months by the time I applied. I know I will need to get a new one then. But my question is, is this going to affect the AOR at all? Or is it only considered in the next steps of the assessment? I really need my AOR soon to apply for a BOWP. Do they only look at whether you included all the documents, or do they screen them as well before they issue an AOR? What will it take for the application to be considered "initially approved"?

If my application is returned/rejected and no AOR because of this police certificate, I'll probably have to arrange for a new one and reapply asap. I have until August 10 (current PGWP expires) to reapply and get an AOR.

Thanks for your opinions...

It wont affect your AOR at all......Once you get your new PCC, send it with your file no.

Will they request to send the PCC again when they send the AOR? Or we should just go ahead and send it once we receive the AOR?

You can mail PCC original once you receive AOR. Not required to wait till the VO request.

Send original Police Certificates to:
