Hello,

My 1 year PGWP is expiring in Jan 2017. I have full 52 weeks of NOC B experience, with implied status 52 weeks finished already, without implied just on work permit, will finish in Jan 2017. Now my score is 445 and and employer wont support either pnp or lmia. In this situation if I dont get ITA by Jan either on EE or OINP what should I do? apply for visit visa and wait out till the express entry points comes down or go back home and wait there.
Please advise is there any other options and best option.

Your choice. I would personally go home and get additional work experience there to boost your points further.

Hi Scylla, thank you for your response.
I already have maxed out in years of experience (6+) so that is not an option to boost the points.
Any other options apart from not going back?
Was any one in this situation before?
Please advise.

Thanks,

Did you try to improve your IELTS/CELPIP score?

?? You mean, apart from going back?

1) Change to a visitor, stay on your own dime. Hopefully, you have a very healthy bank account that you don't mind spending to support yourself for a year or so.
2) Find an employer who is willing to apply for the LMIA (or already has a pre-approved LMIA).
3) Return to study.
4) Provide us with more information, like what your country of citizenship is. Sometimes this helps identify new options.

Was any one in this situation before?

No, never. Sorry, that's a joke : ) Tens of thousands of people are in this situation every year.

Hi Jes_ON,

Thank your for your input.

I am from India, age is 34, ielts 7, 6+years of foreign exp and 1 full year of canadian exp.
I can try to improve the score to 455 if i work on ielts. But last draw was 475 so thats no where near.
At this moment I can survive on visit visa here.
no LMIA

Unless you really hope to find an employer who will be willing to apply for LMIA for you, there is really no much sense in staying in Canada on visitor visa. Visitor status doesn't give any advantages for any EE or PNP application.

The reason i do not want to go back is I know once i am in my country, it will be very difficult and hard to come back later due to personal reasons.

So... India does not have an IEC program, but you could apply through one of the "recognized organizations" Most are geared towards youth and you are pushing the upper age limit, but it's worth looking into -
