Hello friends,

I am going to be secondary applicant. I have also completed Masters full time(one year)from London, which is evaluated by WES.I was eligible for twenty hours per week. but i had good relations with my employer.Hence i managed to do more than 40 hours a week. So my question is shall i include my part time experience or not?

I stayed in London for four years . I completed my diplomas and masters.

Also if any one can tell me what are the basic requirements in case of secondary applicant?

If you are a spouse of the main applicant, your foreign work experience doesn't count. Only Canadian work experience counts for the spouse.
Ok. my qualifications which is already assessed by WES, i should mention them in qualification details.Right?
So in work experience section , shall i leave the section blank?

I am little confused in this. Post ITA, if i mention my work history, would not there be any problem?
If its in personal history you dont need proof. Basivally work history is for what you're claiming points for. We didn't list everything there but listed EVERYTHING in personal history.

Have a similar situation.. I used to work part time when I was in the UK. But I don't remember the dates at all.. In that case, how do I mention it in Personal history.

Thank you

Use your best guess using flight tickets, pictures, anything like that. Also, you can attach a LOE that you don't remember exact dates and you included an estimate.
I was there in the UK for 2 yrs. So for the personal history, I have mentioned all the addresses and one part time job. But there are 2 more part time jobs I did as a student, so I don't remember the dates of those jobs, does anyone know if I have to mention about that.

One question ... as an secondary applicant, I have just mentioned by qualifications, not work experience which was around 4 years as part time while pursuing my full time education in the UK. Post getting ITR, then i need to update all this info in personal history?

I also got to know I cant not count part time work as long as i was in full time education.

You have to list EVERYTHING you did since you turned 18 or past 10 years whichever shorter. Again, use you best guess, which semester in which year did you do that job?, etc.
At the end, it is your decision to choose not to mention these jobs, but you have to face consequences in case CIC came to know them so how.
Thank you.. I will try to mention all the possible information on this. As tax was cut from the pay, they might have all the info somewhere in the system.
Thank you once again.

but in case of secondary applicant, i will leave work history blank. and fill up in personal history after ITR?

Yes, you can include your part-time experience, but make sure to provide clear documentation of the hours worked. While you were eligible for 20 hours per week, working over 40 hours might raise questions, so be transparent. For secondary applicants, the basic requirements usually include proof of relationship to the primary applicant, background checks, and meeting educational or language proficiency standards. Check the specific guidelines for your visa or program for full details.
Hopefully they got their answer since the post is from 2017.
