It been seven days that my WES documents have been delivered by DHL and have been received by Maple at WES but there is no update in status on WES website.It says waiting for reqd. documents .Can anyone help on how much time does it take for the first update and the remaining process ?

From my own experience and reading up on several others' experiences, it looks like WES takes 4 to 6 business days to update the status to "Documents received & review in progress" from the date that the documents were actually delivered to them. I am in the same situation with you. My one is delivered on 19, May. It has just updated yesterday after I called them several times to find out if my parcel has been received.
So my timeline is as follow:
Date Purchased ECA: 17, May 2017
Date of Dispatch: 17, May, 2017
Date of Delivered: 19, May, 2017 (Australia Post DHL)
Date of Status updated to Document Received: 31, May, 2017
I recommend you should call them to chase them up.

there are lots of other threads on this forum discussing this issue. everything is stuck at their side due to COVID-19.
