Hi Guys,

In order to apply for EE, one must gets his or her degree evaluated by one of the recommended organization. One my friend picked WES and his question is, what level of education needs to be evaluated? He has a Master degree from United States, does that mean he can only get his Master's evaluated or he need to send in Bachelor's and high school stuff too?

only post-secondary education

Hint: Price is for all your education, no per diploma

The smartest is to pick whatever gives you most points - I think Masters is enough, you wont get extra points for Master+Bachelor, so it's not worth to bother and ask the school to send the transcript.

You should send both your Masters and Bachelors degree. I think its quite clearly mentioned on their website.

Send both... No extra charge for it...

The points will be awarded for only the highest degree, in this case Masters. So he can just send the transcripts of the Masters degree and that will suffice.

He may choose to get the Bachelors also evaluated, but it will not give any extra points. Moreover, he will have to deal with the hassle of getting transcripts from his Bachelors institute as well.

That is true, but there is a chance that the Master's degree might not be recognised as being equivalent to a Master's in Canada (although, with a Master's from the US, the chance is pretty small).

It can therefore make sense to send documents for both degrees as the applicant can then get points for "Two degrees or more" if the evaluation turns out to be less than Master's (which has happened to some people).

Again, for OP the chance is probably pretty small due to the Master's being from the US, and if it's a big hassle to get the Bachelor documents sent from the university then I probably would not bother.

The OP looks to be from India and if so, WES requires Bachelor's degree transcripts as well to assess Masters. So, OP MUST send bachelor's degree transcripts along with his/her Masters transcripts. I'm certain about this as I have done it recently.

MY bad, I just realized the question was for a friend of the OP. Nevertheless, applicants from India must have their bachelors degree assessed along with their Masters.
