WES equivalent degree - 2 or 3 years ?

Hi guys,

I'm just in the process of sending over my documents to WES to have them verify my degree.

I was just wondering from your experience if my degree will be assessed as equivalent to a 2 or 3 year post-secondary study.

I started my study in January 2009 At the University of Auckland for a Bachelor of Technology.
Then later that same year I switched to a Bachelor of Science and that was what I graduated with.

In my transcript it says "eligible to graduate" in December 2011 ........and "Degree Awarded " in May 2012.

Will they only count the 2009-2011 part , thus only 2 years ? ....BSc's at Auckland are 3 years and that's the standard.

Also in the transcript, it says under BTech - "discontinued" ...because I switched the a BSc ...will that be a problem at all ?

So my transcripts are currently en-route to Toronto straight from the University ...and next week I'll mail a copy of my grad certificate and grad letter myself from Calgary to Toronto too.

I have same sort of situation. I completed level 5 Diploma in Hospitality in one year. Which takes at least 2 years of full time studies at WELTEC. I am expecting my WES evaluation to be completed this week. I may be able to update you how WES will consider my case.

I got cross credit in Diploma because of my previous education. But I have got it mentioned in the WES form by Head of department from my Institute so WES consider my Diploma as two year Duration. I will update you. keep in touch. You can add me on whatsup 0064212044457

Here is my update. Just got an email of evaluation completed today. They only mentioned one year equivalent to Canadian standards in my report as I completed the 2 years diploma in one year. WES is shitttt.. seriosuly!! Most likely you will get degree equivalent to 2 years unless you send them the 1st year (Bachelors of technology) transcript as well. Good luck mate!

Fastfood- I also have a Level 5 diploma which I need to get assessed. Could you please tell me what documentation you and your institute provided WES? Does your transcript have enrolment dates (from-to) and marks per subject? My transcript only has an award date, subjects and credits per subject.
