Take a look at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG72.asp, especially the selection factors and application category sections. You'll need to check if
1) you meet the 67 points based on the selection factors (education, language ability, experience, age, arranged employment, and adaptability). For this you can also take the self-assessment at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp
2) if you qualify based on either arranged employment or based on 1 year experience in the last 10 in one of the NOC codes in the Ministerial Order. The list of occupations can be found at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp with description of each NOC code at www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC-CNP/app/index.aspx?lc= => search the NOC

Hi nkuzibe,

You will fall under NOC 2121- Biologists and other Scientists. NOC 2121 is a new addition to the Miniterial list. Please also check the information posted by OhCanadiana.
