Please post the websites for making resumes for Canadian Job market

If possible do post the tips to modify the resume which can fit in canadian job market

One tip i have read on some of the forum was to remove the country while mentioning about your previous job. This helps in getting the interview because employers are not sure if you have Canadian exp or not. During the experiencing you can mention the truth. The idea here is to get interviewed...I guess.

This is just from one of the postings I read. I haven't tried it yet. :)

If you search canadian resume on google, there are some good websites. When you look at these sites, make sure they are not outdated. Some links may be old.

In fact, I see that canadavisa has a site for that too. Good luck.

Hi Ankit,

Networking is the best tool in a foreign land but there are centres like "Mennonite centres for Newcommers" (This is in Edmonton) where you can request for a more formal and Canadian employer friendly preparation of CV. These centres are awesome and they provide these facilities for free. Other facilities are tax preparation and joining classes to improve your skills, housing advertisements etc. Check within your area/province for these organizations.

Hope this helps.
