I filled application form of Seneca college online and submitted application fee 65$ CAD and sent along with my educational transcripts.
they sent me a letter stating that we offer our congratulation on your acceptance to Seneca college
and sent also another letter along with this stating about the fee of my 1st semester due.
I paid the 1st semester fee and dispatch the half portion of that fee stating letter to Seneca college.
and submitted my application of study permit in CHC Islamabad along with that letter and original educational documents and passports, etc etc.
please clear me that was that letter LOA. letter of acceptance.

Hi,

Usually 1st Sem fees are to be paid in advance, by international students to book their seat in these colleges (mostly Ontario based). Some may even ask for full 1 year fees (like Lambton college, Sarnia). And some may only ask 400-500C$ for seat confirmation (Red river college, Manitoba).

The procedure is..you pay application fees... fill application form and send all documents. If you are given admission, they give you a offer letter. Then you need to pay the 1st sem fees/1st year fees(depending upon the college) to get final "Letter of Acceptance". This Letter of Acceptance is an important document..which shows you have been granted a final admission to the college..and you need to attach that LOA with the visa application documents.

i received only one letter, after i paid 1st semseter fee i did not receive any other letter

If you receive a confirmation letter, AFTER payment of fees..then that's mostly the LOA. It's not necessary that you get Offer letter and then pay fees and then you get LOA. IN your as..after payment of fees, you have got the LOA directly. You should confirm once again with the college.

i apid 1st time only 65 $ cad and college issued me the letter of acceptance, i can apply on the basisi of that letter without paying fee, but i paid and submit that letter in embassy,
colg did not sent me any other letter after receing payment
 
just show us the letter which u submitted to embassy then i be able to tell you.
scan it and send to my mail

Hiii.... Cheif, didnt colg send you paid Fee Receipt.....?

At first,,, Seneca sends you a two pages letter which is most merely an "Offer of Admission" which encloses all your credentials like ,,, name, dob, course, expenditures, offer date, expiry etc. etc. are mentioned with a warm congratulations on the first page.... On the second page... Your student ID, INVOICE detail and Total Amount Due which is 6244.12$ is mentioned .... This page has a break line in its middle from where it can be tear up at the time of submitting fee...

After you submit fee... You should have got the paid Fee Receipt which is the proof that you have paid fee to the college in advance .... I wonder how come you didnt get that ??

Sorry to say,,, you cannot apply on the basis of mere offer letter without paying fee .... Because your offer states a condition that the 'Due Payment' is 6244.14 $ and also the date of issuance and expiry is also mentioned on itttt ... So, there is no logic of applying without payment because of the condition imposed. You can apply without paying fee if and only if your offer letter mentions that 'Fee on Arrival' ... Otherwise , it is just an exaggeration ...!

yes i received 2 letter
1 offer stating bio data, name, course start and end date etc
the second page was invoice page on that it is written that your tuition fee is due 6244.14$
i paid 6300$ CAD and colg issued me the receipt against my payment
i also attached that receipt along with offer letter.

Then what are you worried about ?? You have enclosed all what you have got from your institution ... No worries at all .... Good luck :)

then have u received new letter of acceptance?
if no
then.. whenever will u defer ur admission?

Hiiiii.... I have applied to Seneca through a consultant ... I have asked him time and again to defer my admission ... But, every time he says that you are not required to do that ... Defer Letter will be required if embassy asks for that ... or for the most, embassy itself will call it from the college to defer my admission to the next intake ..... So, up till now i have not got my deferral letter ... If in case, embassy needs that ... My consultant will provide them with this piece of paper.... !

As far as i know... My consultant is an agent of Seneca college ... So, he remains communicating with the college ... He keeps on saying me... ' dear just wait and keep on praying ' ... The very thing which is required from you is to pray for your well being ....

but i contacted my college
they told me that Last date for defer admission is 11 May
Last date of refund is 18 May
lady told me that if i dont inform to colg about my current situation mean to say
if my case is still in process i have to tell them and ask to defer admission otherwise i will not be able to get refund of my tuition fee.
embassy only contacts to college in some cases, whenever some one sent scan or photo copies of LOA.
they told me that before May 11 i should defer and then wait for decision if embassy requires the postponed letter then provide them new letter otherwise wait patiently for decision
if unfortunately i got refusal i will be able to get refund before 18 Sep.
and i have defer my admission my letter has posted tomorrow i will receive new LOA.

This is the very point about which my consultant says right accordingly as you have said "If embassy requires the postponed letter then we shall be in charge to ask it from the college and then sending it to the embassy ... Otherwise, you gotta no need to be worried about ...

I think in my case ... It looks that my consultant might have informed the college with my status .... And, if in case, i get refusal... Then, my consultant has full and the final responsibility to get my money back ... So, i am bit satisfied .....

i received postpone letter today,
but i will not send it to embassy.
whenever embassy will require it i'll provide
