Want to know the initial assessment of application in NS canada

we have applied for canadian immigration our application reached NS canada at 6th may 2010 i want to know when they will reply us and one thing i want to know that i did not send IELTS results with application will it effect the assessment?

Hi Shela,

Its takes about 45-60 days +/- 20 days for NS to response and they will send you the email so keep checking your inbox plus junk mail as well. You are not required to send IELTS results at this stage but in the second stage when you will send you full docs.

I am just guessing if they will start processing faster. If the new list/system is pro immigration with more occupations etc, then they will see huge surge of application which will take ages to process.

They will have to process pre 2008, 2008-2010, post 2010, too much of a hassle , headache for them and the huge waiting list might put off some good talents from migrating to canada

just a wish for faster processing ha ha
