please answer me

If this internship complies with the definition and conditions of experience as stated below, then yes, however, you have to provide an evidence and employer reference letter, should have worked for at least 37.5 hrs week and be paid.

" full-time work, which, according to R80(7), is equivalent to at least 37.5 hours of paid work per week. Full-time work experience requirement may be met by the equivalent in part-time paid work experience, e.g. more than one part-time job held simultaneously or one or more part-time jobs held over the equivalent of one year of full-time work. Experience can be calculated by adding up the number of weeks of full-time work, i.e. 37.5 hours per week in one job or a total of at least 37.5 hours per week in more than one job, in one or more of the NOC categories. Periods of work of less than 12 months during the 10 years immediately preceding the date of the application may be added together and divided by 12 to calculate the number of years"

but what the noc describe the internship

This is what I meant, you don't call it internship if it's full employment. You use your actual NOC.

Dear emadg;
This year is considered an experience year & is not included in counting your years of education.

It's under the name of intern, internship, intern physician, house officer, house resident .. & more which I cannot remember right now.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internship_%28medicine%29

In Canada's National Occupation classification NOC system (the first link below) , it's called there intern, intern , general practice under the code 3112 of general practitioners & family physicians...etc (the second link below). This NOCs duties comply with what we do in our internship year. Still, when you get your work experience from the hospital you had your internship training in, you have to make sure that all your duties are clearly stated (as much as possible), that when a CIC officer compares it to the duties in the NOC it would show the similarities (the third link below). You don't quote their duties, but only state the ones you have done as clearly as possible to show the similarities.

The experience certificate should show as well how much money they gave you during this year, & ofcourse the dates when your job started & ended..

N.B. I am applying by my internship year.. Thank Allah swt (god almighty) have gotten my preliminary approval (Positive eligibility review PER) from CIO which is -according to the most recent available knowledge- done after they have revised our job duties & NOC.

good luck dear,
basmalahh

Well done basmalahh. Great you share your experience. This is great evidence of accepting this internship year.

Thanks.

Though your certificate doesn't mention it, they still have it in the hospital you have been trained in. You should contact the HR of the hospital & ask them for it. Any big hospital has to have written job duties to every job category in their staff.

- If they tell you that they don't have it, then the staff themselves are just oblivious of its presence but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. In such a case, you ask someone who might know better (like the chief of HR there or if there is a certain central HR department for ALL the medical institute's workers in this place). & if this doesn't work & they still do not know, then there is always an separate entity on the country's level that defines all jobs & their duties & responsibilities (one of my friends had to go there to get her duties defined because they wouldn't give it to her from her hospital).

Then, when you do get your job duties (preferably on their paper mark), make sure the paper it's stated on is officially stamped by them.

If the duties aren't written in English language, you'll have to translate it from an official translation office (as you do with any non English paper) so that CIC officers would understand what's written in it.

Hope that have been of help,
best wishes,
basmalahh

Excellent post by basmalahh. i used to think Internship is a part of education & can not be shown as work exp. I assume,i was wrong. Internship training doctor get paid by hospital and they definitely do all the tasks mentioned in NOC website; eventually CIO have to count it as paid work experience :D
In addition, i must quote "Internship training" alone is not sufficint evidence to be count as as wrok experience. You must arrange another Certificate where your duties, position, work hours and salary is mentioned.

Dr.Hasib
