Waiting long time for decision made

Good evening family
I started my process in November 2021, and I completed my medical interview and vaccination from September 2024 to October 2024 with a pass result( as immigration officer confirm congratulations) . However, my medical certificate expired over a year ago (about 1 year and 6 months), and I have not yet received my re-medical papers or any updates on my case.

Is this long waiting period normal? Has anyone experienced similar delays? I would appreciate any advice or guidance on what to do next.

what kind of immigration category you applied?
Will request a re-medical once security/background checks are complete to avoid expiring again or reuse previous medical results.

It is the same answer month after month month. You will not be asked to repeat a medical until your file is close to being approved or else it could expire again. The process is long and as yearly quotas decrease it will get longer.
