Hello everyone, I hope you are safe in these weird times.
My conundrum is I applied for my visitor's visa extension (Nov 2021) and work permit extension (Oct 2021) but have to leave for the US on a work and family related visit. The trip is not essential, but I would really like to check on my elderly parents in California and join a leisure trip my (Canadian employer) company is going to. This trip is scheduled for the end of March which would have been 4 months since I applied for a visitor's visa and almost 5 months for my work permit.
My question is, what will happen if I leave without these with me and then come back?
What do you recommend my move to be?
Also, I am not American in case that info helps.
