would you mind telling me your ppr letter material.. have they instructed you separately to send your husband passport to get stamped in his presently residing country...

I am January 24 2014 applicant. I got married on February 7 2014, and also I got file number on February 26, 2014. After I informed Cic , and PNP office and submitted all other required document to add my spouse in April 2014 with my existing application.

They sent my spouse medical request on June 6, 2014. After, sometimes in August 2014 they send us two separate form for marriage questionaries' and other document like picture or our weeding, honeymoon picture , married certificate and why we both think our relationship is genuine and continuing.

I submitted those forms on September 1st, 2014 and till now no update.

I did follow up in September 20, 2014, just to make sure they received my documents and they confirmed me.
I also did follow up email on dec 28, 2014, and they response me to wait and keep patience and our application will be process as per cic regulatory timeline. No documents required at this moment and if they need they will ask ...

my application in ecas still application received 24, 2014.

so I am bit worry, anyone familiar with that situation?

I think sometimes they dont update e cas right away. as per their email on ppr, cic said that they can arrange to print visa on another office.you just need to let them know.so dont u worry.as for me the consultancy that i had will process my husbands passport.i believe their office in my home country will send my husbands passport to their office here in canada.and so on and so forth.

Request Addtl Docs (police clearance) - September 2013
Sent docs - November 2013 ( No feedback since then)
Got married - February 2014
Added spouse- March 2014 (when i came back to canada)
Request for additional info from CIC - August 2014 (questionnaire, generic forms etc.)
Sent requested docs - September 2014
Med request for spouse - October 2014
Meds done - October 2014
Request for additional proof of relationship - November 2014
Sent docs - November 2014
In process - December 15, 2014
PPR - January 13, 2014

no DM on e cas yet..I hope this will give an idea to those who are in the same boat. Wish everyone the best this 2015. Lets claim it!!!

Please be patient. Thats the key. I waited for more than 2 years. As for you, you just applied this year. It will come soon.

e cas change to DM last January 17, 2015. 4 days after PPR.

pp sent last jan 27th because i still waited for my husband's pp from my home country.im hoping and praying for that.

In how many days cic replied back that they have arranged to print your husband visa in home country after the day you sent email to them for this arrangement ...good luck

Actually I have a consultant here in Canada.They have local office in my country and thru them they sent my husbands passport to their office here.I sent mine to them already and when they receive my husbands, thats the time they sent our passport together to CIC.so i will receive our stamped passports together here and later on i will sent it to my husband thru courrier.im planning to exit here to the nearest border and let my husband come here after.
