Hi folks. I’m inland October 2016. I got AIP in Jan 2018 and still waiting for DM. Is it normal? Has anyone waited over 6 months for DM? Cic never asked for any additional documents. I can’t understand why it’s taking too long.

Yes I’ve called Cic many times but useless. The answer is always 26 months to finalize the process (background still in process).

Go talk with mp, sometimes their involvement gets things moving.
