I will be starting work in Alberta soon on a TWP (construction)
I have been led to believe by the recruiter my deductions on my wage would be
25% tax.
However speaking to somone out there already started they have told me there
are more hidden deductions applied.
What could these be, I've heard of employment insurance that some canadians pay towards?
I thought 25% of my wage was excessive, anymore than that I may as well stay and work in the UK!
Any help or suggestions appreciated.
