Volunteer work and unpaid internships/Activities in the past 10 years

I'm currently filling out my FSW application (the part about activities in the last ten years) but I'm not sure if I will be required to provide reference letters for my volunteer work and unpaid internships. I also just started a new job at the beginning of October and I don't want to ask for reference letters so early so as not to give the wrong impression, plus I like this job so should I or should I not declare it in this section?
