During my master's degree, I took a break and did a 6-month voluntary internship before returning back to finish my studies. This internship comes under NOC level A, was paid, 38 hours per week, and not part of my degree curriculum. During this break, I was still enrolled in my university(just paid for my semester fee), but I did not attend any classes not had any exams. My master's degree certificate mentions my study period from 2017 to 2020 including my 6 month internship period. It does not mention anything about the break I took in-between.

Can I still count these 6 months as a valid work-experience?

Excluding this, I currently work in a company for the past 6 months and before my master's degree, I have 2-years of work experience(both coming under the same NOC level A).

Can all this be counted to meet the 3-year experience mark?

Yes, if you didn’t complete the Masters in Canada. You can count it as foreign experience. To be eligible you need one year, continuous skilled work experience in one NOC.

Thanks for your quick response. I am relieved now that my internship was not a wasted time. But I do not understand what you mean by this:

I already have a 2-year continuous work experience after my Bachelor's degree. This was followed by my 6-month internship during my Master's degree and now, I am working in a full-time position. Fortunately, all this comes under the single NOC. Is this enough?
