Hey everyone, I am sorry if I am typing this in a wrong forum so please let me know and I will move to the most relevant forum. I am looking for some advice to help my cousin stay and work in Canada if he happens to drop out of his current course. I am a UK resident myself and run a business online. My cousin works for my company part time which helps him pay for his fees and living costs etc. The problem is that the course he has chosen is useless(in my opinion) and don't think would help him a lot after he graduates.
As an alternative I have suggested that he should take a vocational course where he can learn some hands on skills and be able to pay for something he can get a low skilled job and work his way up. He is a practical bloke and would love to do something like this instead following his parents advice.
My cousin is an Indian national and has already spent couple of years studying his current course. I personally don't like that the money he is earning off me is all going towards something which may not guarantee him a stable job.
Please let me know if it is possible for him to stay in the country and pay for a vocational course rather than a higher skilled course to stay and work in the country? Thanks
