Hello!

If we only paid half when we sent in our application, and we receive an email that says to pay the other half...is this good news? does it mean they have started the appplication and that we might get an answer soon?

Yes,this is good news. It usually means that all is well with your processing and that your visa is ready to be issued.

ok i paid 550 the first time. What exact amount is left? I am looking on the fees page of the website but I see so many options I dont want to choose the wrong one!

There is $490.00 owing....the total paid should amount to $1,040.00!

My VO office is paris and we sent the applicant to mississauga initially... I cannot find where to make our second payment online. I clicked the links the VO sent us but it doesnt seem to direct us to the exact page. can someone help?

Below is the link where you need to make your payment. Fax the receipt to both Mississauga and your Paris VO.....Paris won't do anything until they have confirmation from Mississauga but at least they will know it is done.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

Ok he gave us the same link.. what part do we click now?

I see the option for Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) 490.. but where do i click to make this payment i dont see it

Go to pay fees within in Canada and it will direct u to the online pay service And then u fellow pages and choose Mississauga as the location and then it will take right to the payment methods page and u go from there . U have to register ur email address so they can send you the reciept . Print 2 copies of that reciept . Fill them out with sponsor details along with a cover letter has also the applicant details like name address and client I'd number . Dob ..etc. Then fax or email a copy to the visa office . And mail the other copy along with the cover letter to mississauga . U can find their address on the cic website . ( search for cpc-m and u will find the address for RPRF payment address ) and then wait .. I just paid it online and currently awaiting my reciept to be delivered to miss.

Good Luck

but why does it say : If you are applying at an office outside Canada, you cannot pay online.

we are applying at paris office... but we sent the first application to mississauga

Just a little note . If your using ur credit card and ur the applicant . Write your info on the receipt . Some people said the opposite . ( sponsor info) but do as I did . Cover letter with both details sponsor and the applicant just to avoid any confusion .. And if ur the applicant and u used ur own cc . Write ur info on the reciept and the sponsor on the cover letter . This way u covered everything . Good luck

It's ok . Either or . Cuz eventually ur visa office will forward the payment to Mississauga anyways and they will wait for their confirmation of receive . So pay it to mississauga . Then they will confirm and inform the visa office with the payment . But fax or email thr visa office with the receipt and MAIL the other copy of the reciept to Mississauga . By post . And just for more confimation fax it to miss . As well .

thank you so much i really appreciate all your help

can i send the receipt to mississauga by email or do i have to send it by regular mail?

ok now the receipt ...we have to fill in whose information? mine (the sponsor) or my husband (who is the applicant)
