Hi Everyone,

I am currently living in USA(H1B Visa) and would like to apply for Canadian Tourist/Visitor Visa. I just have some basic knowledge of it and would like to clarify below questions,

1. Is visitor Visa applied from US with just tourism/visit friend as purpose be applicable for multiple entries to Canada in and out of US ?
2. If no for above question, is there any other option for multiple entries ?
3. How long is it taking in general for the whole process ?

Any help/info is much appreciated. Thanks for all your responses.

1. It's up to the IRCC officer who processes your application whether you are granted a multiple entry or single entry visa. Most of the time a multiple entry visa is granted.
2. See above.
3. Approximately 170 days at this time.

Are you aware of the current travel restrictions? If you are travelling to see a friend you won’t be able to travel at the moment.
