Visitor's Visa

When I first applied for my Visitor's visa it was to visit my 'boyfriend'. Thus far I had two visas issued...1 for 6 months and afterwards 1 for a year. Now we are married. I have visited him after marriage (once) but the question i want to ask is....my Visitor's visa is upping in December 2010.

What are the chances of it being renewed given that I am now married to him and we have a permanent residency in process?

What sort of evidence would i need to submit if I am renewing the visa?

People are saying it won't be renewed...and I just want to clarify whats really the situation!

The renewal could go either way. I expect you have a better chance if you can prove that previous visas have not been abused - that shows an intent to not violate the law and has more bearing with an outland application than inland.

Proof would include that you have and maintain ties to your country and the need to return to your country. Additional proof would be anything that substantiates that you have not abused the visa in the past and have no intention to do so (although, since you say your husband won't move there, I think you would be dishonest in that statement, but that's just me...and why I was going to allow other to reply).

If its a renewal they will check your past visas and most likely just grant you one or an extension.Even though you have a PR in process they will still see that you have left after your old visas expired,the chances you wont get one are slim.
