Hi, I want to bring my fiancé to Canada on a visitors visa. She has already traveled twice to the uk and came back. My questions are, if she has her own money say 10k and gets her uncle to write a sponsorship letter saying that he will pay all of the costs of the trip. What is the odds of success? And would that be better then me inviting her. And how long will it take to get approved. Thx

Does she have a full time job?

If by 10k, you mean CAD and not PHP she should be ok. I would suggest her uncle inviting her without mentioning you.

From the PH it’s usually within 2 weeks for a decision. Google the IRCC site for the processing times page.

The problem is that she works freelance and her uncle lives in the Uk and is not a Canadian citizen. But she does have property in her name and money to travel in the bank. Also I am established and a good career in Canada.... is there any way she could come here for a vacation?
She has traveled to the uk twice before in the last 3 years.

Thank you

She can try. She shouldn't mention he uncle at all. Without the uk travel she wouldn't have a chance. I would apply for 1-3 weeks with a detailed itinerary of what you will do. Does she have any other Canadian friends who could invite her because a friend would be much better than a fiance or bf. It would be good if she could show proof of commitments in the PH after her trip as proof she will return.

If she can show past and upcoming freelance contracts/invoices or communications with clients, that would be great. Maybe even a brief description of why she needs to be in the PH to do her freelance work. Hopefully it’s not the type of freelance work she can easily do in Canada.
