Hello

My girlfriend mom has just been denied for a visitiros visa for the third time in the last 2 1/2 years. Reason for the second time College graduation and the third time hoping to be here for out first child. Is there anything we can do such as appal or something?

Her mom lives in Colombia, and is an attorney for 10 years, showed proof of her porperties, proof of her banks statement, USA visa was renew not too long ago, few trips to the states. She has no other reason but to come and visit her daughter and be here for her first grandson. It would be a waste of time to come here to stay, by the time shes done school again she will be 50 55.

If any body can help us with any type of information on what alse we can do, it will be much appreciated.

Taken directly from the CIC web site:

"Under Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, there is no formal right of appeal on temporary resident visa decisions. Rather, the applicant may reapply and, whenever possible, a different visa officer will examine the application.

An applicant may also seek leave through the Federal Court of Canada to request a judicial review of any decision made by a visa officer, if he or she believes that the process was not legally or procedurally fair. A lawyer in Canada would have to act on behalf of the applicant."
