Visitor's Extension Pending but COPR Received

Looking for advice on to to handle a pending Visitor's Extension application. My background:

• I applied for Inland PR in October 2019.
• In April 2020 I applied to extend my Visitor's status.
• In August I received a notification that my Visitor's status extension was being sent to Etobicoke for processing.
• Today I received COPR.

I guess the request for extension gave me an extra 5+ months of Implied status, but is now a moot point. Should I cancel this application, or just let it run its course? Or is this something that IRCC cancels/invalidates automatically? Anyone know?

You can cancel it. I see in your signature you applied for an OWP, which already gave you implied status without needing to extend your status as a visitor.

Thanks. I only applied for the Visitor's Extension just in case my OWP application was returned and then I found myself out of status. I never did receive the OWP either, which was supposed to come with AIP.
