Hi .. I am PR holder and is currently in India. I am planning to travel to Canada for project in coming months. I have a daughter who is 5 months old . My sister-in-law is planning to travel with me once I go to Canada on visitor visa. She too has a baby girl who is 3 years old. She will be staying for a month or 2. My query is will she get her visitor visa now (covid times) and will they allow her to travel with her daughter? I am in the process of applying her visitor visa. Also if someone can tell how much time visitor visa preparation takes now? Thanks in advance!!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Both your sister in law and her daughter needs visitor visas.

Btw, is your daughter carrying PR card / Canadian passport to Canada? Otherwise, if she is born in India, and don't have those travel doc, you need get proper documents before she can travel with you to Canada.

Assuming your spouse is a Citizen or a PR and will be in Canada then your sister in law could probably travel as extended family but the sister in laws child probably could not at this time due to COVID interpretation of extended family which does not include children of siblings

Note current processing time for a visitor visa is showing as 248 days
