Hi,
I am a permanent resident here in Canada and recently applied for a visitor visa for my daddy to come visit my husband and I. He is currently retired with little or no travel history and minimal income. Apparently, the visa was not approved, the reasons given was that there they are not satisfied that he will leave Canada at the end of his trip based on his no travel history and based on the purpose of the visit.
The decision came out before the stipulated time frame of the visa process. They said he can reapply if he can respond to the concerns and can address that his situation meets the requirements. My question is:
If I reapply, do I need to provide all the supporting documentations all over again? Is it a fresh/new application or do I need to just provide additional documents requested?
Also, what is the time line to reapply and is the processing time be the same? and do I need to hold on or immediately reapply?
And, what documentations do you advice he should provide to make a strong case when reapplying?
