Visitor visa, without a job or properties.

Hope to get some answer to my question.

I want to visit Canada, I am a Medical Doctor but currently unemployed, I do not own any properties in my country, not married and neither with children but I have big savings, and I have traveled to different countries including Spain where I spent one year studying, so my question is: do you think that I have few chances to get a visitor visa to Canada? I want to visit my girlfriend who is a Canadian citizen.

I will appreciate any answer, thanks in advance.

From your posting you really have no ties to return . Unemployed , no children , spouse .
Plus the elephant in the room . Your girlfriend is in Canada.
What country is your passport? How long of a stay ? Other travel history ?

My passport is from the Dominican Republic. I have traveled to France, Rome, and Spain.

I would like to stay there for a week or two.

You have to show ties that you’ll return. What country are you living in currently ?DR ? EU ? The solid countries to show travel history are Australia, NZ, UK, United States. Countries where you’ve received a visa , traveled to, did not overstay etc .
