visitor visa using dropbox

I submitted my application for a visitor visa at the NY Consulate Office in person into their dropbox this morning. Has anyone does this before? If yes, how long did it take you? Thanks a lot!

You should have applied online if you qualified (priority is given to online applications). Processing times for applications submitted in person is the same as the processed time for applications that are mailed.

You can see the published processing time here. Note that citizens of certain countries outside of the US take an additional 10 days to process for security / background check reasons.

I have vistors visa of my whole family but my son visa is been expired in next month april 5th 2021. Is there any drop box visa there activated ? He is 7 years old.
