Hello, due to bad grades and failing the same classes two times, my college withdrew me from my program on 2-3 days ago, so I applied to change my status to visitor, so that I can apply for a new program in May intake. Was that a right decision or is there anything that I can do which will be better for me, as I don’t wanna be removed from Canada and sent back to my country.

when i apply for study permit in may 2023 as a visitor already living in Canada, what should be my current immigration status in canada? because my current study permit(which i am converting to visitor status) says it will expire on April 30th 2023, and i will apply for a study permit before that date. Is it gonna be student(as the study permit i had was gonna expire on april 30) or visitor(as i converted my study permit to visitor status)

Don’t start another thread. Already answered. You aren’t converting a permit. You are changing status to visitor. You can apply for a study permit and it will be processed outside Canada. Your current study permit is no longer going to be valid. If your change in status is approved then you are a visitor until study permit is approved.
