Hi ,
I am working in Canada and have applied for dependent visa (TRV) for my wife who lives in India. But her visa got rejected on following grounds -
Grounds for refusal:

· I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

· I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your travel history.

· You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your or your host's income and assets.

I can work on 1st and 3rd point but I am afraid about the travel history reason. She has not made any overseas trip. Is it possible to reapply closing only 2comments out of the given 3 reasons?

IMO, it's best to apply for a SOWP instead of reapplying for a TRV

@Bryanna My earlier plan was to apply for TRV and once she received it then will file her Open work permit. As mt company is sponsoring her TRV and her travel to canada.
But now her TRV got rejected , what are the chances for SOWP? Could you please guide me for SOWP? How to apply? What are the documents needed? My wife is a physiotherapist with MPT as post grad degree. But only have1 year work-experience in India.

I had guessed as much. And, I'm sure the visa officer thought the same too :)

1. You can use the 'Come to Canada' tool to get the basic document checklist.

2. You may also want to join/go through the SOWP thread in the 'Temporary Residence in Canada' forum

It would be #6 and not #4 because your wife is not a medical professional. She is only part of a team that offers healthcare services

Thanks Bryanna for the confirmation. So shall I go ahead with this option and start creating my wife's profile on cic for applicatiom creation and submission.

1. She can apply from your online account.

2. She must include copies of your work permit + your passport + your employment letter which states your work responsibilities + your recent payslips + your bank statement

3. She must prove she has at least some ties to India
