I need some insight on this subject matter. My Mother had applied for visitor visa record in April 2024 to have an extension to be made until oct 2024 but the IRCC didn't make any decision as it was still processing so basically she left Canada waiting for extension anyway on implied status, then she applied again from her home country for super visa after her passport renewal and she got visa in Feb 2025 and travelled to Canada on April 2025. but today she received letter (almost after 1.5 years )from IRCC for the visitor visa record application made in 2024 that it is refused because she didn't submit biometrics (she was already in her home country then after submitting the webform that she was leaving Canada)
so my question is does it affect her current status in Canada on super visa since it was a different application? or does it affect her future applications?
It was a mistake at their end so im not sure what she should do now?
