i am applying for sister's visitor visa (TRV)for Canada, and i am here on Open work permit , does anyone have idea about funds ? is there any specific requirement that we have to maintain certain amount for certain period of time ?

It's not about maintaining a specific balance for a specific period of time.... the bank balance, at the time of applying, must be adequate to pay for her airfare + her itinerary.

Also whether it's the bank balance.... or the transactions over the XX period of bank statements which she will submit.... all of it must match her known/declared sources of income..... as the visa officer will cross-check if the bank balance matches her ITRs/ salary slips, etc
