Hello,

I am going to canada for a month on business with possible dates of extension, i am recently married to her and so wish to have my wife along with me on a visitor visa while i sponsor for her expenses. What are the documents to be submitted for the same?
  • will my bank statements alone be enough along with her property papers?
  • Do i have to get the statements stamped from the bank or the online generated bank statements will work?
  • I have a few friends that i lent money for a short duration, they will be putting the amount back to my account to help me show POF. Do you think this may cause a problem?
  • I am also planning to show 2 bank statements for POF and not add my wife's bank statements. Is this a good idea?
Note: The visa is denied to her on reasons: Travel history, family ties in Canada/country of residence, purpose of travel, personal assests and financial status.

I was going to warn you that the visa has a high chance of being denied but I guess that already happened.

What made you think so ? The last time we didn't show much funds and property which i guess was the reason for rejection. Do you have any suggestions to help the application get approved the second time?

Having a wife accompany you on a business trip is not usually a good reason to travel. Also unusual to have a spouse accompany you for business travel these days. She would need to show strong ties to her home country to be approved like a job, property, etc., history of previous international travel plus adequate savings to support the north of you. The chances of approval are pretty low. It is only a month so not sure why she needs to accompany you.
