after.when did you apply in GC Key? was it before September 2021 or after? did you pay fees again?
October 08 2021 - GC key old portal - paid $185
January 11 2022 - IRCC new portal - paid $100

It's taking longer than usual (COVID Backlog), I mean I even forgot that I applied for my renewal. Here's my timeline from New Delhi, if it may offer some respite

Earlier I was hearing stories of getting passport requests two weeks after biometrics. Is that still the case now ? Are there others in the same boat as me ? Can somone give me a timeline ?

I hope your parents' visitor visa got approved. I applied for my parents in august 2021 and biometric was done in october 2021. still no response , similar status as yours showing application is in progress. Did you end up reapplying or heard back on original application ?
