Hi everyone,

I am a permanent resident. I would like my wife from the Philippines to come and visit me by next year. I started the application for TRV and filled up forms. I have some questions:

1. For the Purpose of Travel (other) required. We still do not know when is she coming, so we still dont have booked plane ticket yet.

2. Can i put on the application 2-3 months stay here in BC as visitor?

3. She will be living with us here in our. And i will be shouldering alk her expenses. Do my wife need to show an amount of money on the application?

What other important things should i take note of?

Thanks in advance!

You should have been able to see the requirements when you finished answering the eligibility questions.
1) if you don't know when she is coming then why are you applying? When you are sure of her coming you can book a ticket but don't pay. Use the booking summary to apply.
2)Yes. The maximum is usually 6 months per entry
3)Even if you are taking care of her expenses she has to show some form of financial capability.
She should also write a statement of purpose to support your invitation letter
