Visitor visa for mother inlaw, my company will cover all expenses

Hello,

I just got a reward from my company because of the work I did during the year. They gave me a trip to a place of my choice but Instead, I ask them to cover my mother inlaw expenses ( ticket etc...) during her stay here in Canada. (she will be staying for 3 weeks, spending christmas with us)

I was wondering if a statement from my company will be okay as a proof of sufficient funds for my mother in law. We are going to do her application next week.

It's hard to say how CIC will react to that - this is an unusual situation.

It would be far better if either your or your mother can demonstrate that you have the funds.
