Visitor Visa for international student in the US.

Hello everyone, I do have a problem about Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter. I am not going to go there for study, so do I need to get document ?. It shows that it needs someone in Canada to write a letter to show how are they going to support me. I don't really understand that I am not going to study over there, so why do I need this Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. BTW, Right now I am currently studying on the US.

You do not need a letter of invitation to apply for a visitor visa. To be approved, you need to show funds, ties to home country (job, property, immediate family), travel history, reason to travel.

You don’t need a supporter but have to show proof of funds.
