Visitor visa Extesion

Hi,
I applied for the visa extension on June 8, 2017 online for my mother.
I got a letter for medical on 1 October 2017 ( Can submit till 1 November -1 month time)
Today 3 Oct 2017, I received a letter that application has been approved online for 1/01/2017.
Mother is going back in 15 November.
Do I have to do the medical again once the visa has already been approved please?

Yes, she still has to do the medical. If she doesn't, the extension will be cancelled.
