Hello, I am an INLAND applicant for permanent residency (PR), spouse class. I am here actually with my visitor visa. Last entrance to Canada, February. I sent the PR application package+OWP on February 27th, my visitor visa allows me to stay in Canada for 6 months at a time, so I would have to leave in July. I did not send any stay extension application with the PR and OWP because I thought I would get the OWP faster than that, but now with all this COVID 19 situation I guess everything will be slower and I checked the processing times for the visa extensions and shows 104 days so around 4 months.
My questions are:
1. Can I send the visitor visa extension process online now? separated from the PR and OWP from February?
2. I checked that for this extention they also ask me for biometrics, (I had the visitor visa in 2018 and they never asked me to do biometrics by then in my country, Cuba), I know that you give biometrics only once for 10 years and I already payed for my biometrics in my PR application, (which I am still waiting for the request to give them) if I apply now for the visitor visa extension, will they know that it is already payed for?
