Visitor Visa extension while waiting for PR?

After submitting my PR applicationn on 31st March, I came to Canada on visitor visa. My maximum stay of 6months as visitor is coming to end and I was hoping to get PR before that but it did not happen. I paid for RPRF 2 months back and currenly waiting for passport request. I do not want to go back to my home country. Should I apply for visitor extension or wait without applying for one?

either apply for visitor extension before it expires or leave the country.
you shall get it pretty soon, within a month I hope.
you may move to usa for short time until you get pr if you don't wanna extend visitor visa.
