I am preparing an application for a visitor visa, and I am facing an issue in the Residence Information section. There is a question that asks:
“In the past five years, have you lived in another country or territory for more than six months?”
From 1999 to August 2025, I lived in my home country, and since August 2025, I have been in Germany as a student. I have entered these timelines accordingly, but the error message is still appearing.
I also tried modifying the dates to cover only the last five years (for example, 2020–2025), but the error still does not go away. Could someone please help me understand how to resolve this issue?
Additionally, in the travel history section, I need to mention my Umrah trip to Saudi Arabia. For the purpose of travel, what would be the most appropriate wording? Would writing “Religious pilgrimage (Umrah)” be clear and formal enough?
