Hello,

I have the following question: my post graduate work permit is expiring, but the 6 months I can stay as a visitor are not over yet (I wasn't in Canada in the prior months). Can I still stay in Canada until the 6 months as a visitor are expired?

As long as you have a valid Visitor Visa status, you can stay and leave or renew before its expired.

Thanks. How do I know my current status? I'm from a country that doesn't need a visitor visa.

If you are from a Visa exempt country then apply for eTA and you can stay for max of 6 months (CBSA officer would decide the duration)

This is wrong.

If you entered under a WP, then you weren't given "six months as a visitor". Your status expires as soon as your WP expires, therefore you need to file for an extension to your worker status or extend your stay as a visitor BEFORE your worker status expires.

Agreed with this. This is the correct answer.
