Hi,

I am a visitor in Canada from 19 July 2016. I have multiple entry visa. The stamp from the airport doesn't have any date of exit. I am pregnant right now and is due in May 2017. Its almost 6 months in Canada and I have applied for visit visa extension. My visa has a stamp showing expiry date as June 24, 2017. My husband is a PR holder. I would like to know whether there is chance for the visa officers to approve my visit visa extension or should I need to go to India and come back. Can I stay here as I have visa's date of expiry till June.

Please revert back....I am getting tensed as I don't know what to do now....

You can stay until you hear about the result of your visitor visa extension. If the extension is approved - then you can stay. If it's refused, then you have the option of leaving or trying to apply to restore your status.

How can I restore my status? What does it mean? If my application gets rejected , Can I apply for restoration while staying in Canada or should I need to leave Canada for the same? How long will it take to get a reply from them. As I am due in May, I won't be allowed to board flight after my 7th month.
