Visitor Record while waiting for CEC draw

Hello,

I am gathering my documents to apply for a visitor record while waiting to get an invitation under CEC. My question is, is it required to show a proof of flight ticket going to my home country?

You need proof you have enough funds to support your stay as a visitor and buy a plane ticket home if need be.

Thank you for that information. I did upfront medical for my CEC application. But I’m still waiting to get an invitation. Can I use the same medical for my visitor record application?
