Hello,
My spouse has applied for a visitor record application as we did not have time to complete spousal sponsorship application during the first 6 months (were waiting on marriage certificate and response for police record check).
Spouse initially came to canada for the holidays and we ended up getting married in january. We then were waiting on the marriage certificate and it only arrived like 1-2 weeks before expected time to send visitor record application and we were still waiting on police check response.
We explained in the application that we want to apply for inland sponsorship and have only just received the marriage certificate and were waiting on police check.
I am terrified of my spouse being denied. Is there anything we can do if this is the case?
This is the first time we have ever applied for a visitor record. Should we be ok? I'm scared my spouse will be denied
Thank you for your response
